Difference Between New Tractor and Second Hand Tractor

 Every farmer nowadays wants a tractor to complete the farming process and make healthy crops. Because tractors have made it very easy for everyone to do farming be it sowing or hydraulic. Therefore it is necessary for farmers to own a tractor. Some farmers are not able to afford tractors, and some farmers have plenty of money, so is it the right option to go with a new tractor only, or you can buy a second hand tractor? 



According to us, a used tractor is also very efficient and trustworthy as tractors are made in a way that they can easily perform effectively for years. So it's worth every bit to spend your hard-earned money to buy something that is used, but we are not saying that it is not worth to buy a new tractor some of the advantages a new tractor has over a used tractor are as following:--


  • A used tractor is very efficient in fuel consumption, but as compared to a new tractor, we are not sure that it can compete. You can go with a second-hand tractor or a new tractor that's up to your budget but check the used hours and fuel efficiency before buying.

  • A tractor's engine remains the same for the first 2 years, then it starts to degrade, but it stays healthy for at least 7-8 years, so make sure you have a look from a mechanic over the engine.

  • A used tractor can cost you anywhere between 3-5 lakhs*, whereas a new tractor of the same segment will cost you between 5-7 lakhs.
